Little Dragon — My Step
My boyfriend and I have been listening to this song more or less over and over again for the past few weeks or so, or maybe it just feels like that since I’ve definitely had it stuck in my head for that long. We can’t get over how damn catchy that chorus is when the bass kicks in — and we keep trying to figure out if it’s one of those pop hooks that’s so solid that it instantly sounds really familiar, or if it is actually weirdly similar to another song that we just can’t place (prime example: Ryan Adams’ Hotel Chelsea Nights and, uh, PURPLE RAIN. Seriously.) HELP!
