2010

2010 is drawing to a close — the first full year in which I dedicated my blog pretty exclusively to fashion and only fashion, and as of today, 2,000% (!!) more of you are reading this than did up to December 30, 2009.  Thank you for that and I’m honored to have gotten to know some of you so well and look forward to fantastic things, working with more of you, and making more great friends and contacts in the new year!

As a wrap-up to the year, here are the top non-personal-style posts of 2010 (you guys are all such smarty pants nerds, I never expect anyone to read all those long rambles as much as you do!):

Why Fashion is Worth Blogging About
Is a Queer, Feminist Interest in Fashion Possible?
Modesty, Street Harassment, and Public Space
Cold Weather Style Then and Now
Hookup Culture, Lady Gaga, and Bad Faith
SS2011 Inspiration
Sexual Politics of Vintage Femininity
Vintage Playboy Advertisements
Written on the Body
Female Photographers and Shouldering Responsibility

And top ten style ones (judging from here, Lookbook.nu, and Weardrobe) — larger images of these after the jump!

Thanks again to every last one of you and I wish you all the healthiest and happiest new year!

From January through now.
