One of my favourite things ever is when iTunes randomly delivers me something I haven’t heard in years and I’m all, oh hell yes this song/band/album is really damn good and I get really into it for the next week or so. Which is why I’ve been freaking out for the past ~7-10 days about how awesome Wolf Parade is and how great this song was and also talking a lot about how the first time I saw them was opening up for Modest Mouse in 2004 and my friend Jazz who now lives in Japan or something lost the ball from her septum ring on the floor but then miraculously found it again under a beer cup after the show and then she fixed it and hid it back inside her nose and we called our parents to come pick us up at the train station or whatever, which maybe says more about me in 2004 than I’d probably like to admit.  Either way, surprisingly great quality video of the band at Bowery at CMJ four years ago.
