I hate nail polish. I hate manicures. Usually my nails are just black or red, chipped and chewed-up. But anyone who knows me knows that I’ve been obsessed with Chanel’s FW09 mint green nail polish for months, and I think I’m finally getting over it, thanks to this. (Maybe I just like mint and sage green? I seem to have a web design problem with it [&1, plus here] as a constant accent or text color as well.)
Alas, the fluorescent lighting of the office is making my final joyful ‘almost Chanel green until Chanel jade green comes out this fall’ nail polish purchase look sadly blue. Alas. But the final verdict: OPI’s “Get in Lime” is pretty damn close. I also picked up this Orly Matte topcoat, which is awesome and makes everything look like KO’s amazing matte polish.
Other things to note: one of the three white shirts I own and the yellow cardigan (quite unusually colourful overall); giant cup (bowl?) of tea. Also yes, yes I do take photobooth pictures of myself in the office as my ‘lunch break’, yes, okay.
